Fashion Friday: Fall Lust

It came this week.  It's only a matter of time before THIS follows suit.  I've been trying to keep it at bay, this obsession with fall occurring well before summer is actually over, but alas...this weekend it will overtake me.  I'm headed to the Washington coast for family vacation, but I'll be using a lot of my time to catch up on magazines.    No doubt, I will return next week completely entrenched in my annual fall lust.

Harper's Bazaar has cast Jennifer Aniston as Barbra Streisand; I'm dubious, but eager to check it out.

p.s. Did you see our new header?

More Fall Inspiration

More from the fall issue of Bazaar:

I love the whole romantic, Victorian, feminine but tailored look of this The Secret Garden inspired collection. I seriously want those boots hard.

Fall Inspiration

I hate that the fashion world sends us reeling into Fall when we are clinging like hell to our Indian summer. Despite this disdain, I couldn't resist leafing through my Bazaar Fall Fashion issue. What a treat it was...it made me swoon all over Fall once again.

Books AND Fall? Sigh.

I am especially loving the throwback to the 40s. I've started my Fall wish list as a result.
  1. Camel, red, or plumb leather gloves
  2. A cloche hat
  3. New plumb or orange lipstick
  4. These red shoes from Chie Mihara
  5. MaxMara Camel Coat at only $3,000
