Last night, we spent a few hours dining outside, enjoying a perfect summer night sipping wine and nibbling antipasto platters. Don't you just live for outdoor dining?
I am totally gaga over my Hipstamatic iPhone app and apparently so are 52,000 other people. It's awesome to see what others capture with the various lens and film choices on this flickr group I just discovered. Above are a few of my favorites. May they enrich your Monday viewing pleasure.
I am beyond in love with evening summer light right now. Doesn't the ethereal dreaminess just immediately relax you? Since this summer is all about patience, I am all about trying to find ways to wait calmly. These pictures will do until I can grab some of that light my own self.
I've taken to spending a few late nights on flickr, just taking in beauty and inspiration as my "feel good activity." I stumbled upon CelestePhotography and just love the tone, color, and texture of her photos. Also, she is only 17..which just amazes me.
These last few weeks have been rough for a good many people in my life. One of those lovely people was instructed by her therapist to engage in a "feel good" activity. What is one thing that you can spend five minutes a day doing that can provide you with positive thought and peace? Her answer was looking at the ocean, or really any body of water. She even narrowed it down to which body of water, and decided that Snoqualmie Falls in Snoqualmie,Washington held a special place in her soul. We decided we needed to find a good picture of the falls to contemplate daily. I immedately jumped on flickr...and here are a few of my favorites.
This is also a sneaky manipulation to try to remind Kelly of Washington.
