Words on Furniture

I saw this before/after on Design Sponge last week and have been just walking around in a daze ever since.  Who said it was okay to put WORDS on furniture? Why didn't I think of that?
And "Summer Day" by Mary Oliver is one of my favorites.
I'll tell you what I'll do with my "one wild and precious life..."
Let's put words on EVERYTHING!!!!

Painted Hebrew on my wife's last dresser I made for her. I think one of the Psalms, but I particularly like how this one is carved.

I love how the word "precious" curves above the hole.

I've put words on walls before. And on my arm!

Hmmm ... the bare, basic wooden kitchen chairs are practically BEGGING for this!

This is wonderful. I've seen book pages modge-podged onto furniture but never seen it done like this. Love!
